Hiroshima — Etajima (Mitaka) Ferry Cruise Routes Schedule and Price List

Regular Schedule

■ Cruise distance [Hiroshima — Mitaka 12.0km]

Regular Passenger Fare: One way per person (tax incl.)

■ Junior high school students and older are charged the adult fare. The fare for children refers to elementary school children.
■ Infants (under age 1 year) are free. One preschool child (toddler) per adult sails for free. If an adult sails with more than 1 preschool child, each additional preschooler will be charged the children’s fare.

Vehicle Price List

■ The price of shipping a vehicle includes passenger fare for 1 driver.
■ Standard vehicles under 3.4m in length are charged the light vehicle fare (IQ, Smart, etc.).
■ A separate passenger fare is required when shipping bicycles and motorcycles.
■ Low-floor trucks and trucks weighing 20 tons or more are not accepted.
■ Trucks over 10m in length may not be accepted due to high/low tide, so please inquire in advance.
■ Motor coaches are not accepted.
■ Reservations are only accepted for large vehicles and groups of 15 persons or more.

Handling Packages

Packages are accepted on the Hiroshima Port — Mitaka Port route.
*Packages are accepted and delivered at each port ticket counter (at Hiroshima Port, it is the Hiroshima Kaiun Co., Ltd. counter). Please bring packages no later than 15 min. prior to departure.

■ Packages are only accepted on ships departing Hiroshima Port at 10:55/Mitaka Port at 10:10. Packages are not accepted on other cruises.
■ The service is not available on weekends, national holidays, during the Obon holidays, and New Year’s holidays.
■ For inquiries, please contact the relevant port.

Discounted Fares: One way per person (tax incl.)

■ Reservations must be made in advance for groups of 15 persons or more.

■ Please show your Kuruma Tabi Club membership card when boarding.
■ The discount is applied to vehicles that can be verified as camper, etc. by the vehicle body style code no. or vehicle body style on the vehicle inspection certificate.
■ Exclusion Dates: Aug. 13–16, Dec. 31–Jan. 3

Purchasing Commuter Tickets

Purchasing at Hiroshima Port

■ Commuter tickets are sold at the port ticket counter 6:45–19:30 (weekends/national holidays 7:00–17:30) from the 25th of the month prior to use up to the 1st of the month of use, and 6:45–18:00 from the 2nd to the 5th of the month of use.
*However, when making a new purchase, the commuter tickets are sold during the hours noted above from the 1st to the 5th of the first month of use.
*There are also commuter tickets available for bicycles and motorcycles. Please inquire at the counter.
*There are no commuter tickets for cars. Please use a book of tickets.。

Purchasing at Mitaka Port

At Mitaka Port, commuter tickets can be purchased from the first cruise of the day until 19:30.
Ex.: Renewal: Sales of commuter tickets for March → Sold February 25–March 5 during the hours noted above.
Ex.: New Purchase: Sales of commuter tickets for March → Sold March 1–5 during the hours noted above.

Commuter ticket refunds

■ Refunds cannot be given if the total amount of regular round-trip fares from the first day of the purchase month until the date the refund was requested exceeds the commuter ticket purchase amount.
